How To Have A Victorious Outcome

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)

This week we will be looking at the word that Pastor Louis shared on Sunday on ‘How to Have a Victorious Outcome’ when things get hard.

Firstly, it is important to maintain a humble heart and attitude. It is easy to try and put up a brave face when we don’t really know what to do. We must remember that even when we’re unsure and confused, God is still the way. He can work all things ‘for the good’ of His children.

Second, we must learn to take intentional action. When life gets hard, it can be easy to give up or to try to fix it in our own strength. Instead, we need to engage with God about practical steps we can take to walk on the path He has for us.

Finally, we need to live with focused faith. We must remember that although it is God, not us, that performs miracles, we still need to step out in faith. This looks like hearing God and obeying what He says, regardless of what it might look like.

  • In which areas of your life do you need to release control back to God?
  • Are you stuck in a cycle of judgement? Who can you extend mercy to in order to break it?
  • Is there genuine unity in your family? If not, who do you need to honour?
